General Description
The BSS138-7-F is a N-Channel power MOSFET with a low ON-resistance of 3.5 Ohms as well as a low gate threshold voltage at 500 mV. The device is totally lead-free and RoHS-compliant and what’s more its high-speed switching feature makes it popular among applications in power management, E-mobility devices, military and other markets. Guidelines for Using
As depicted in the graphs below, the ON-resistance value varies with operating temperature and drain current/voltage. When VGS (Voltage from gate to source) gets to 10V, the ON-resistance scales up to 3.5Ω, which means the power loss increased to its maximum. Given that, Easybom suggests that these factors be taken care of.
