In general, there are two types of students enrolled in their full-time management program in India. The first category includes students who take the MBA entrance exam after completing their bachelor’s degree. These students have less than industry experience and they take the various Indian entrance exams like CAT, XAT, etc. for this 24-month course. The second division consists of experts from different industries who have more than 2 years of work experience and have applied for an MBA degree. The growing tendency of people to gain some industry experience before earning a postgraduate degree has led to the introduction of 1-year MBA programs at many of the country’s top institutions. The duration of this course is typically 12-15 months, and globally highly regarded GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) scores are widely considered.
