The Best Alcohol Infused Whipped Cream I’ve Ever Tried

I’ve been to different kinds of parties. And since we are talking about parties, there’s also those that have alcoholic drinks involved. Well, most of the parties I’ve been to involve a lot of drinking, especially the heavy kind where you just get drunk, but still managed to get home whether I drive or take a cab. Among the different parties that I have attended to, there was this one particular birthday where there was a drinking game involving alcoholic whipped cream.

Read all about whipped cream.

It was many years ago when I first discovered this at a party, and I was amazed with the fact that alcoholic whipped cream can exist after all. That particular whipped cream that I had on that party was the best compared to the other parties that came after that, with whipped cream involved once again. That’s why I did not hesitate to ask that friend of mine who celebrated that birthday upon learning how to make my own whipped cream at home.

Gladly, she taught me how to make that variant of whipped cream, which I now even apply on whipped cream canisters, packed with nitrous oxide whipped cream chargers (also usually known as nangs)to stabilize them, and for me to find it easy to get a dose of this awesome alcohol infused whipped cream. And now, I am glad to teach this awesome recipe to those who are interested to make their party games, or the whole party itself, more fun.

Read about nitrous oxide whipped cream dispensers and how to fix issues with cream chargers.

Don’t confuse soda chargers with N2O cream chargers which are different.

The Different Types Of Alcohol Infused Whipped Cream

Here are some of the mixtures that I came up with upon learning the whipped cream recipe, as well as the original alcohol infused whipped cream that I was talking about earlier:

Bourbon Whipped Cream

Bourbon is known as one of the classiest alcoholic drinks. The rich flavor of oak makes it somewhat sweet, making it perfect to incorporate with the mild sweetness of the whipped cream. For sure you will still taste the rich woody flavor of the bourbon, but you will surely like to get more of the whipped cream once you taste it. This is the whipped cream that I was talking about earlier, and it is extremely easy to make! Here are the ingredients:

  • 4 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of confectioners’ sugar. You can still use powdered sugar if you want an alternative sweetener.
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 shot or a few drops of Bourbon, depends on how strong you want the bourbon to be in your whipped cream

The key to make the bourbon whipped cream taste sweet is to make adjustments to the ingredients. This is extremely easy to prepare because all you need to do is place the heavy cream on a large bowl, whisk it or use a hand mixer to whip the cream. As you whip, add up the confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, and the bourbon shot. Just keep on mixing until you get a foamy consistency to the cream, and you’re all set!

Tequila Whipped Cream

If you want a whipped cream that’s reminiscent to margarita, be sure to make a tequila whipped cream instead. Knowing that tequila is one of the strongest alcoholic drinks out there, and the one that’s often used in parties, for sure you would love to serve this whipped cream flavor on the parties that you host. It’s also very easy to make just like bourbon whipped cream. Here are the ingredients:

  • 4 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of confectioners’ sugar. You can still use powdered sugar if you want an alternative sweetener.
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 shot of tequila, or more shots if you want!

Take note that the flavor of the tequila is quite strong, which is why I would recommend adding only 1 shot of tequila instead of adding more like a heavy drinker. The steps are just the same as the bourbon whipped cream. Just remember not to overmix this, unless you want to make tequila butter.

Kahlua Whipped Cream

This is something that I learned from a friend. The rich flavor of kahlua gives the whipped cream a coffee flavor, but has the power of alcohol to spice up the whipped cream. This is one of the best whipped cream flavors that I have made in some of the parties that I hosted, or if it just like to make a fragrant whipped cream on top of my dessert, while making myself intoxicated with alcohol at the same time. Here are the ingredients for this recipe:

  • 4 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of confectioners’ sugar. You can still use powdered sugar if you want an alternative sweetener.
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 shot of kahlua, or more to strengthen the coffee flavor

The steps are just the same as making the two recipes above. The kahlua whipped cream is one of the best to add on top of pastries because of its coffee flavor. Some would make strong coffee drinks and place the whipped cream on top of it to add more caffeine. There was a friend of mine who even tried to make an espresso rum frappe, and added this, and it really made his afternoon and evening great!

These are just some of the alcohol infused whipped cream recipes that I have made. It’s just that these three are the best and makes me confident enough to share them to others in parties because of their amazing flavors that will make everyone get more. After all, whipped cream is something that some people just can’t get enough of, much like alcohol for some adults!
