Some yubo 18m us uvaldepost: It has been reported that a man, known as some yubo 18m us uvaldepost, is threatening to shoot up his classmates’ school and also to kill a girl. He is also reportedly posting photos of dead cats. The students are alleging that he threatened to shoot up the school, kidnap them, break down their doors and even murder a girl.

Users say Ramos threatened to rape and murder a girl

In the days leading up to Tuesday’s massacre, a man named Salvador Ramos made several threats on social media. He threatened to rape and murder girls. This has resulted in dozens of reports being filed against him.

Ramos, 25, made his first public comments about the Uvalde shooting on the social media app Yubo. Before the attack, he referred to himself as a “school shooter” on the platform.

Before Tuesday’s massacre, Ramos had also been stalking a 17-year-old girl on the platform. In the days before the shooting, he had texted her to “jump off a bridge” and to “worship” her. He sent her a death threat, and he allegedly tracked down her personal information.

Several teenagers reported Ramos’ account to Yubo. One reported him in April, a month before the shooting. A second user, an 18-year-old from Canada, said he threatened to shoot up her school.

He posted photos of dead cats

This past May, Yubo launched an age verification feature that required users to be at least thirteen years old. The app also announced a slew of updates that include a new chat feature and a revamped mobile interface. Users can now create video live streams with up to ten friends.

One of the more notable features of the app is that it uses artificial intelligence to help moderate comments and respond to reports of harassment. However, some users say that the company hasn’t been responsive to their complaints. In addition, the company hasn’t yet weighed in on whether or not they will ban users who violate its terms of service.

Aside from the usual suspects, there have been a few high-profile cases of youth violence towards animals, including an Indiana teen who hunted three kittens with a bow and arrow in his backyard.

He threatened to shoot up their school

Yubo, a social media app for teenagers, is used by millions of young people worldwide. It’s free and ranked No. 25 on Apple’s free social networking app charts. However, the site has faced criticism for failing to combat sexual exploitation and racism.

According to CNN, Salvador Ramos, the Uvalde gunman, had been active on the platform before the shooting. He used it to talk with users, send photos of guns, and engage in livestreams. In February, he mentioned in a chat that he was a school shooter.

Some yubo 18m us uvaldepost

However, until his deadly attack, his Yubo account was not taken seriously by users. Even after the shooting, he maintained a presence on the platform. And he kept making disturbing comments in his livestreams.

A 15-year-old girl in Germany met Ramos on the social networking site. She says she had some troubling interactions with him. One of the things she remembers was his odd comment about his grandmother.

He threatened to break down her door

During the coronavirus pandemic last year, Yubo usage exploded. It’s a social video live streaming app that focuses on live broadcasts and has over 60 million users worldwide. However, it’s also been accused of failing to protect its users from online harassment and sexual exploitation.

The company’s community guidelines forbid content that promotes violence, bullying or intimidation. To combat these issues, Yubo uses artificial intelligence and human moderators. And to prevent abuse, it has an age verification feature that requires users to be 13 years old.

But while the company has taken many steps to improve user safety, it’s been accused of failing to do enough. For example, it has declined to disclose any specifics about the account of Ramos, a Texas man who shot up an elementary school in Uvalde.

He threatened to kidnap them

Yubo is an international social media app used by millions of young people. It uses artificial intelligence and human moderators to monitor livestreams. The company is also taking steps to verify the authenticity of user accounts.

Last week, Yubo reported it was investigating reports of a threat on its platform made by an 18-year-old man. His Yubo account was reported by several teenage users, who warned him that his messages were threatening. He was allowed to continue using the site after a temporary ban. However, some local law enforcement officials have warned about potential abuse.

The incident was the latest in a series of interactions that have surfaced on the social network. A 16-year-old girl from California said she reported Ramos’ account after he threatened to rape and murder her. Another teenager from Canada, who asked to keep her last name anonymous, said she reported him after he threatened to shoot up a school.

How Teaching Certifications Vary by State

Published

on

certifications for ESL teachers

The requirements for teacher certification vary by state, and the differences can affect both new teachers and those who are re-certifying. It can also impact teachers who move to a new state if they want to continue teaching. Here’s what you need to know about teacher certifications across the states.

Certification Requirements for Elementary School Teachers Vary Widely by State

While the traditional route to teaching requires a teaching degree, passing certain tests, and even student teaching for a set number of semesters, this is not a hard and fast rule anymore. Because of teacher shortages, and people switching careers after already having a degree in a different field, many states have chosen to make accommodations for individuals who want to teach.

These states may only require a year of training and a couple of courses for these individuals to become teachers. Basically, some states are offering alternative routes to teacher certification including internships and prior experience as evidence of their ability to teach.

Length of Certification

Each state has its own rules about how long a teacher’s license lasts. Most state teacher licenses are good for 3-5 years in the state in which they are issued. However, an Arizona teaching certification lasts 12 years when you qualify and renew. This goes to show one of the many ways that teaching certifications vary by state. You must renew it by taking more classes or taking a test, depending on your state requirements. Some states allow teachers to attend conferences as part of the licensing renewal process.

Critical Components of Teacher Certification

The first thing to understand is that teacher certification requirements vary by state. The reason for this is that certification requirements are based on the minimum standards established by each state’s department of education. These standards can be found in your state’s education code, or you can look them up directly on your state’s website.

Certification requirements are usually determined at the state level, and sometimes those requirements are the same as another state, and sometimes they are not. For example, if you’re applying for a teaching job in Massachusetts, you’ll need to complete certain exams in addition to your bachelor’s degree. However, in states like Iowa, you don’t need to take a Praxis exam to prove your subject competency.

Education for Teachers

To teach in the United States, you must have at least a bachelor’s degree and have completed a teacher preparation program. This includes a student teaching component, which is typically comprised of multiple phases that culminate with a final practicum. Another seasoned teacher observes you in the classroom while you teach and grades you on your effectiveness and offers feedback throughout the process. In addition to education courses, many schools offer courses on child psychology and classroom management strategies as well as methods for teaching reading comprehension. Some states will require a Master’s degree or even a Ph.D. in teaching as well if teachers want to advance or earn a higher salary.

Continuing Education for Teachers

Teachers need to keep up with the latest developments in their field. Some states require teachers to take courses, others require teachers to attend conferences or workshops, while some may require a combination of all three. Teachers may also be required to earn continuing education credits in order to renew their certification. In these cases, you can expect that your state will specify how many hours of credit you need and what kinds of activities will count towards your total. It’s important to stay on top of these requirements if you want to renew or maintain your teaching licensure.

Student Teaching Requirement

The student teaching requirement is the most important part of teacher certification. The student teaching requirement gives you a chance to put into practice what you’ve learned in the classroom and also gives you an opportunity to learn from an experienced teacher. Most states have some level of student teaching required to qualify to teach solo in a classroom. Although the required length of time to student teach will vary. The feedback you receive from the observing teacher will be invaluable for you moving forward in your teaching career.

Licensure Examinations

Many states require teachers to take an additional licensing exam in order to receive a teaching license. These exams may be given by the state department of education or other designated agencies and typically include questions about the content taught in your program, state laws and regulations, and classroom management techniques. But because of the differences between states, some do not require this as long as you have completed an approved educational program.

Qualifications for Substitute Teachers

This may come as a surprise, but most states don’t require substitute teachers to have a teaching certificate or teaching credentials. This means that people with a bachelor’s degree—and in some cases, only an associate degree—can teach in classrooms as substitute teachers.

How to add multiple classes to a ReactJS Component?

Published

on

ReactJS Component

Normally big projects need it to be dynamic or having different reusable CSS classes which can be applied to multiple DOM elements, also there are some common CSS in two classes which can be separated as one common class and then apply multiple class to element where one is common CSS and one is element specific class. Here the need for multiple classes to a single element raises. Also, you can check about implementing material UI in React which is one of the demanding topic in React.

While working with HTML and CSS we encounter some situations where we need to apply more than one class to an element, i.e., applying one class for media queries and one class for color, size and position to a div tag. Moreover, you can hire React developers from BOSC Tech Labs to help you in applying these things and in building complex React based application efficiently and correctly.

For above situation, we just write both the classes space separated to HTML element:

@media (max-width: 767px) { .hidden-mobile { display: none; } } .theme-format {             color: ‘blue’;             font-size: 16px; }   <div class=”hidden-mobile theme-format”>SOME WEB CONTENT</div>

Now, as we already know that React application is having Class component and Functional component. So the keyword Class is already there for class component in React, due to this we need to use className to tell React that the className is different from class and className needs to be rendered inside an HTML tag as CSS class.

Now to apply multiple classes we can just use space similar to HTML, i.e.,

function App() {  return <div className=”class1 class2″>Normal Multiple Classes</div> }   export default App

Ways to apply multiple classes to React DOM element

Static Classes:

As we have already seen above that is what static classes looks like, there are few more ways to apply static classes like:

Static class with variable and then concatenation:

const varClass = “class1” <div className={varClass + ” ” + “class2”}>Normal Multiple Classes</div>             // Or <div className={“class2 “.concat(varClass)}>Normal Multiple Classes</div>

Similarly, we can apply classes combined as array and then join it with space:

const arrClass = [“class1”, “class2”, “class3”] <div className={arrClass.join(“ “)}>Multiple Classes in array</div>

Dynamic Classes:

Above classes are directly or indirectly static classes, but there are few ways to add this classes dynamically. It can be with some condition or from parent component or even from response from API.

Conditional classes are a widely used method as it gives applications a different level of dynamicity from a front-end UI/UX perspective.

const [isWarning] = useState(true) return ( <>  <div className={`box ${isWarning === true ?  “warning” : “success”}`}> This is a message </div> </> )

Here the CSS can be:

.warning {             color: ‘red’, } .success {             color: ‘green’, }

Classes as props from parent component:

const Child = props => { return <div className={`${props.status}`}>This is an error message</div> }   function App() { return <Child statusClass=”error” /> }   export default App

Here the Child will get error as class given to that div element.

Using classNames Library:

All the methods above directly or indirectly forces us to use space separated classes, but the classNames library of React offers comma separated class applying method.

Firstly install the library to your project by npm or yarn:

npm install classnames             //Or yarn add classnames

Now we can use it with all the above Static and dynamic methods but here the comma separation is needed instead of the space separation we used in above examples i.e.,

import classNames from “classnames” import { useState } from “react”   function App() { const [isWarning] = useState(true) return ( <div className={classNames(“box”, { warning: isWarning })}> This is a warning message </div> ) }   export default App

Here we applied two classes comma separated, where one is Static, and the other one is conditional on one variable.

Conclusion

Examples above shows that similar to normal HTML space separated multiple classes, we can apply multiple classes to React DOM element the same way with some additional possibilities like classes in array, variable or even from another component’s props. There is one library which allows adding classes, just separating it with comma as well.

By all the above ways there are endless possibilities of giving multiple classes statically or dynamically according to need and solving the needs of big projects.

What Are The Different Ways To Brew Coffee

Published

on

By

Brewing coffee comes in a wide variety of ways. All over the world, there are different traditions involving coffee which had its roots centuries, if not decades, ago. This caused some traditions to customize the way they make coffee, where some are totally unusual and could only be unique to their country due to the materials or environment needed to attain that specific brew. The difference in brewing techniques also led coffee to become differentiated not just through the coffee beans, but through the methods involved when creating that specific brew of coffee.

Read about Ethiopian Coffee.

Before we discuss what are the different popular techniques for brewing coffee beans, you should first learn why it’s very important to know why there are different ways to do it. After all, just mixing coffee in a coffee maker with the right coffee beans is already enough to achieve the brew that you desire. The answer to this is very simple: the difference in the brewing techniques can also sharpen the flavor of strengthen the coffee’s caffeine even further, which is what most coffee lovers would like to experience. True coffee lovers are known to have a tongue that can easily define differences in the different flavors involving coffee beans and brews. To get the best brewed coffee you don’t just need to use a good method but also start with the best coffee beans you can find. You can find great gourmet coffee beans online from a boutique coffee beans seller.

Read about Gourmet coffee here.

So, without further ado, here are the most popular brewing techniques that are worth trying out at home, or in some country where it’s unique and yields the best flavor:

Espresso

You got that right! Espresso coffee is not actually a type of coffee bean that’s “strong and very bitter”. It’s actually a technique where nearly boiling water is pressurized into the finely ground coffee beans in order to create that strong drink. This drink is often taken as as a shot due to the concentrated amount of caffeine present in each drop of this thick concoction of coffee.

Espresso is often mistaken as an expensive type of coffee drink, probably because of how classy its name sounds. However, the price for the espresso coffee actually varies from expensive to extremely cheap, depending on the type of product being sold. There are two known types of machines that can create the espresso coffee brew: the first one is the typical coffee maker, while the other one is a traditional espresso machine that can only be operated by pumping it with your own hands.

AeroPress

The AeroPress may sound all too technical, looking like it came out of a science project, but is actually one of the easiest ways to make coffee nowadays. This is a modern method where the AeroPress device is just made of three items: the AeroPress machine itself, the stir stick of the machine, and a filter for the coffee beans.

Read more about Colombian coffee beans.

This method usually requires you to just pour in the hot water and the coffee beans into the container, and let it process coffee under the empty container of the AeroPress cylinder. The brewing time for this method only takes a minute or two, and can yield a wide variety of brews (which even included an espresso like result).

Read about the Ethiopian coffee growing regions here.

French Press

The French Press is a classic brewing method that’s more focused on steeping the coffee rather than brewing it. The coffee beans used in this method must be very fine, as they will get immersed in very hot water. If the coffee beans are more ground when steeped, more flavors will be released into the hot water and will blend well, resulting in a very tasty and aromatic blend.

Read about South American Coffee.

This is probaby the simplest method that you can do in order to brew coffee because you will just have to steep it like tea. And just like tea, make sure that you’re not steeping the coffee beans for a very long time because it will taste too dark and bitter already, and will just ruin everything. That’s why you should check the coffee you’re steeping with this method every now and then until you reach your desired level of flavor.

The Moka Pot Brew

This method involves using a special type of coffee brewer called the moka pot. The moka pot is used with pressure just like espresso in order to create a flavorful cup of coffee. This pot also has 3 chambers, which also create the three steps needed to achieve this method.

First of all, the water is poured at the bottom chamber of the moka pot. The ground coffee beans are then placed in a filter this time, the pot is then placed at a stovetop to heat up. Once the water at the bottom chamber starts to boil, the steam generated on the pot will push the water upwards towards the coffee that’s placed on the filter. Once that occurs, it will push further to the very top chamber where the final product can be extracted, ready for you to drink up. The moka pot may not be as strong as the espresso, but coffee lovers will surely indulge on the richness of the flavor that the moka pot can make.

These are just some of the popular methods that are worth trying if you want to learn what are the different techniques to brew coffee. What’s interesting about this is that it yields different levels of acidity, aroma, bitterness and even the strength that will keep you going throughout the day. That’s why all of these are worth trying for!

4 Innovation Accounting Strategies To Implement in 2022

Published

on

Accounting Strategies

Businesses must stay ahead and remain competitive by producing innovative products and services. But handling innovative products can be a tricky affair. Their early stage development is fluid—with high uncertainty and steep failure rates

A solution for this perennial problem is innovation accounting. Through innovation accounting, your firm can develop and track new products and business models faster. So, you can align them with your overall business strategy to drive your competitive edge.

Innovation managers and corporate ventures can now understand their innovation project risks better. That allows you to make an informed decision on the projects and avoid resource and time wastage. This can be crucial, particularly if you’ve limited resources or a broad innovation projects portfolio with different sizes and all running simultaneously.

Incorporating innovation accounting as part of your innovation ecosystem can help you track and measure each innovative project. As a result, you can determine your riskiest assumptions and gain real-time insights into your programs from a single source.

Innovation accounting strategies can boost innovation efforts and scale your products and growth. Let’s unpack what innovation accounting is before exploring innovation accounting strategies worth implementing in 2022.

What Is Innovation Accounting?

Innovation accounting offers a structured approach to measuring your innovation’s progress. Using innovation accounting helps you create relevant and actionable metrics for each stage of your innovative product development. So, you can invest wisely and make informed decisions on your innovation projects.

As a result, it complements traditional accounting (TA), which is ill-equipped to measure a new product’s early stage. TA metrics like market share or ROI can not apply to a new innovative product.

At such a nascent stage, you may have only tested your project amongst a handful of users for feedback for iteration and better final product development. So, a market share can’t be an actionable and realistic metric at that stage.

Innovation accounting focuses on the most crucial and essential metrics at that stage. The goal is to uncover real-time insights into your innovation progress and determine your risks. So, you can achieve product-market fit and scale your product(s) for growth opportunities.

Let’s explore four innovation accounting strategies to implement in 2022.

  1. Focus on Customer Needs

Source: Pix4free

All your innovation accounting metrics at the early product development stages should focus on customer needs. That’s the only way you can connect to the market needs and achieve a product-market fit.

For example, you can track a metric like a customer feedback to help make the product iterations that serve users better. Alternatively, you can use conversion rates to see how many users have tried the service or product.

As the product progress through the production cycle, each stage should have actionable metrics. Actionable metrics will help you uncover valuable insights into your progress.

  1. Create Actionable Metrics and Avoid Vanity Ones

Metrics and evaluation are the core of the lean startup approach to product development. But, evaluation alone is not enough; you must measure the right aspects or things. Sway on the wrong or unnecessary elements, and you’ll be deep down vanity metrics.

On the contrary, actionable metrics are specific and give right/wrong or good/bad data results that are unmistakable. Plus, they are tied to the hypothesis you are testing. It will help you determine the outcomes of changes or product features.

Additionally, the actionable innovative metric should be:

  • Accessible. The metric should have clarity and supporting data widely available to every team member and relevant stakeholders.
  • Auditable. The results should be traceable and reproducible from the source data by any project team member.
  • Finite. The metric should be tied to the hypothesis being tested. The report’s data should allow you to measure what you need. Evaluate what you need to validate a business idea and move on to the next assumption. So, metrics changes as the product move from one development stage to another.

For example, assume you have an incredible e-commerce website product.

At the initial stages, you will be limited to metrics like active members, reviews, social media shares etc. As the product matures and reaches the marketing stage, you can track conversion rates, customer satisfaction, revenue etc.

Upon reaching the mature stage and being well known, you can track metrics like churn rate, retention, cost of production etc.

Remember, every innovative project is unique – so the actionable metrics may be different and specific to each case scenario.

  1. Create a Better Funnel Innovation Process

Funnel innovation is part of the Lean Thinking approach that helps you to screen for innovative ideas and prototypes for viability. It will allow your firm to determine which creative ideas are realistic or which ones are not.

Integrating innovation accounting into the funnel innovation process helps evaluate your idea’s usefulness through prototyping and minimum viable product (MVP). So, you can validate your business ideas and models faster and more efficiently.

The traditional funnel innovation model looks for ideas and resources internally. The model is better if you have an extensive research and development (R&D) team. You can also opt for the open innovation (OI) rocket model, where you accept ideas and development externally.

The OI rocket model is best-suitable if you have external collaboration in the market. Also, it is an excellent asset as most ideas are tied to the market and customers’ needs. Moreover, the development of solutions leads to better technical knowledge.

So, you must evaluate the numerous and continuous ideas you get daily or weekly. A funnel innovation process hinged on IA can come in handy for effectively and efficiently qualifying the ideas.

  1. Develop Quality Impact Mapping

Source: Open Data Watch

Another crucial approach you should include as part of your innovation accounting is impact mapping. Impact mapping is a robust planning method that helps you manage your innovation goals and priorities, identify risks, and explore solutions.

It focuses all interested parties on the essential features without including unnecessary details. That allows you to test your business idea assumptions and evaluate their potential value. You can also leverage it to achieve your objective faster. Put differently, it helps achieve a more mature delivery.

Innovation accounting handles everything on measurement and tracking. To gauge the impact of your idea or project, you must apply relevant metrics to test that. So, incorporating impact mapping in your innovation accounting process can keep your team focused on the goal and delivery.

In essence, impact mapping can help stakeholders develop roadmap decisions and react quickly to the dynamic business environment.

Final Takeaway

You can only make informed decisions on your innovation projects if you have the proper insight and data. Whether it is the amount of investment or resources to commit, you’ll need to support your actions based on data insights.

Innovation accounting offers a structured measurement approach to get innovation progress data insights. You can enhance your innovation accounting process by leveraging some of the abovementioned strategies. They will help you produce new products and business models faster and more affordable for the market.
