Prolific Achiever Sylvia Rossouw Established Herself in the Art and Architecture Industry

There are several projects and shows Sylvia Rossouw has contributed to. As a result of her tireless efforts, she has won numerous awards and accolades. Her passion for the arts is what keeps her energized and motivated. At South Africa’s Apple Arts Awards, the talented artist was a category winner. La Lunigiana e la sua Anima Etrusca will be the subject of President Quirino Martellini’s invitation in September 2021, when the Biennale Internationale dell’ Etruria will be held in the cities of Rinchiostra, Pamphili and Massa (MS).

Participation in the Community

Sylvia Rossouw is concerned about her neighborhood and makes every effort to assist in every manner possible. Several of her early performances took place in her home region of the Western Cape, South Africa, to demonstrate her affection for the locals. In 1994, as part of the KKNK Annual National Arts Festival, she had a solo show at the Civic Center. Another solo exhibition was presented the following year, during the International Green Architecture Conference. In 2014, she participated in a fundraiser auction dubbed Shhhhhh!, which was one of several group projects she was a part of. On Nelson Mandela Day, she also took part in a community-wide mural project at the library. A year later, she was appointed as a part-time lecturer for a variety of architectural and design subjects at Cape Province University of Technology (CPUT). In 2018 and 2019, she worked as a mentor and source of inspiration for other budding architects.

The Expedition to Remarkable Artistry

Nelson Mandela University in South Africa was Sylvia Rossouw’s alma mater. She graduated from the institution in 1994 with a degree in Building Arts. She graduated with a degree in architecture four years later .She graduated from the UNISA School of Business Leadership with a Master of Business Leadership from South Africa. In 2014, she received a Baccalaureus in Fine Arts from the University of Cape Town.

Future Objectives

Her personal creative place, Sylvia Rossouw Studio, is where she spends her leisure time. All of her video stills, paintings, and installation pieces can be seen in her professional art studio, which is located just outside of Franschhoek in the Western Cape of South Africa.

Past shows: …..Aldila Beyond the Obvious at M.A.D.S. Gallery, Milan and Fuerteventura, 22 October 2022, which was under the curatorship of Art Directors Carlo Greco and Alessanda Magni.

Future shows….She will be showcasing her work at an international exhibition, at M.A.D.S. Gallery in December 2021. “Sacrifice” will open on the 16th of December 2021, in both Milan and Fuerteventura, simultaneously.
