Mangastream Review

If you’re into anime, manga, or Japanese culture in general then this website is for you! MangaStream provides manga and anime content to an international audience that’s easy to find. This website is one of the most popular places on the internet for fans of Asian media products.

What makes this site particularly interesting is how it has grown to become a community with many different people from all over the world with shared interests in viewing, reading, and discovering new things about manga and anime. The site is run by a husband and wife team who have been creating content for  over 15 years.

The site’s layout is quite user friendly making it easy to find specific types of content and read many different articles. It’s structured so that the main menu is found at the top of every page, offering you the ability to choose one of three categories: all manga, all anime, or latest. Each category has different subcategories that offer you even more specific options to choose from.

For example, you can filter your search by “Shonen Jump” to find a list of the newest manga releases and articles related to this weekly magazine. Or, if you’re looking for new anime series then just type in “anime’ and select a series from the drop-down menu. This will bring up some other options so that you can choose what episode of a series you want to read first.

A nice feature is that most pages have an RSS feed listed as well. This is your chance to stay up to date on topics that interest you with a daily or weekly update. This feature also allows you to set up a custom feed for individual topics or groups of people that might be interested in knowing about it.

This site’s forum is full of people who love anime and manga from all around the world. It’s a place where you can find new friends, watch some amazing videos, and even share your own information with others in the community.

New Alternatives of MangaStream

1. Nyaa

Nyaa.si is a torrent site that has been around for quite some time and hosts manga as well as anime. It’s one of the largest torrent-based websites in existence, so it has an extensive library. You’ll find everything from manga to light novels, fan translations, and more on this site. It’s best to leave the downloading up to the experts though since it can be a lot harder than you think if you’re not used to torrents.

2. Kissmanga

Kissmanga has a very pretty layout and it’s a great website to use to read manga legally for free. There are ads here, but you’ll be able to read quite a few chapters worth of manga before you run into them.

Anime fans swear by this site, and it’s easy to see why. It has an immense amount of manga available, so if you can’t find what you need on one site, there are plenty more to try out. It doesn’t let you read for free, but given their huge library, it’s well worth the small price.

3. Mangafox

Although a little worse for the wear, Mangafox is still a go-to site for many manga fans. The layout is a little confusing and hard to navigate, so you’ll have to dig a little bit to find the manga you want. There are ads on each page, but they aren’t too annoying. The important thing to note about Mangafox is that it still has a huge library of manga, so if you can’t find what you’re looking for on one site, chances are you can find it here.

4. Plu

Plurk is a social network that hosts all kinds of content, ranging from funny GIFs to links to videos. They also have a huge library of manga and it’s completely free to read here. You won’t get any of the extra perks that you would with the other sites, but it’s still a great place to read some manga.

5. Comic-Streamer

There really isn’t much to say about Comic-Streamer. It’s a relatively new site, but it has a pretty good layout and it’s very easy to use. You’ll get to read for free, but they’ll have monthly limits on the amount of manga you can read so it’s not a place you’d want to spend a lot of time. It has a simple reading menu where you can choose which series you’d like to start with. Also know more from Ideal Magazine.

MangaStream is the leading site that offers legal manga and anime to its users. With an extensive library and awesome features, this site has been a go-to for many. It’s unfortunate, then, to see it’s come time to announce that MangaStream will be shutting down on February 9th of this year. Well folks, what are you going to do? You can’t just not read manga anymore! Luckily, we’ve done some research for you to find the best sites available now so you can continue reading your favourite series without any problems.
