Hekka and Uplive hosted a second sizzling-hot runway show following the unrivaled success of their first collaboration during New York Fashion Week earlier this year.
MIAMI, July 2022 – During Miami Swim Week 2022, Hekka and Uplive joined forces yet again to deliver Hekka’s swim collection to the world’s largest swimwear and beach fashion forum. Taking place over four days, the event gathered more than 200 top brands and designers from more than 70 countries, to celebrate post-pandemic return to beach and pool-side holidays, travel and the digital fashion emergence in the Metaverse.
Over 20,000 fashion addicts working for retail platforms, media, or designers will attend the four-day event, which combines technology, fashion, and fantastic scenery. For a second time in a row, Uplive provided the digital platform for attendees to share their experience, unique style and talents, as well as connect with their audience and supporters. The impressive crowds descended on the iconic Miami South Beach to enjoy a week full of runway shows, VIP parties, and exclusive events.
Remaining true to their core mission of embracing diversity, championing new talent and involving all members of the online community, the two brands brought under one roof recording artist and producer Dalex (@dalexmusic), Latin superstar Juan Carlos Garcia P (juancarlosgarciap), model and actress Yuvanna Montalvo (@yuvannamontalvo), TikTok sensation Tony Lopez (@tonylopez). The show is walked by super model and fitness influencer Veronika Rajek (@veronikarajek).
Following their stellar debut at New York Fashion Week earlier this year, Hekka launched “Style de Vie”, a 25-piece capsule collection of swimwear essentials, at Miami Swim Week 2022. The collection features swimwear essentials, apparel, and beach accessories that aim to inspire a more adventurous summer wardrobe and bolder holiday looks. All pieces followed the ethos of the brand to support emerging fashion designers, promoting natural fabrics and organic lines that fit every shape and size.
The models presented classic bikini sets in summery corals, ocean blues and fiery reds, as well as racy one-piece swimsuits in extravagant shapes and patterns. Also featured were classic black, tan and white pieces with a strong geometric structure and high waist lines. The new line also presented color-block cover ups, elegant multi-purpose sarongs and effortlessly chic summer robes and dresses.
Hekka and Uplive’s collaborations are now famous for their inclusivity and this fashion show was no different. The catwalk saw models in all shapes and sizes, sporting natural hair and makeup – all looks were ready to move from the runway straight to a beach party. Hekka’s designers managed to deliver versatile, yet unique combination of swimsuits that can complement any fashion style.
This marked the second collaboration between Hekka and Uplive this year following the success of NYFW 2022. The growing partnership between Uplive (the leading global video platform) and Hekka (a unique “real-time fashion” platform) leveraged the impressive grip Miami Swim Week had on the fashion world this week to reach bigger audience than ever.
