Guide To Visit Sentosa Island in Singapore

One of the most exciting places in Singapore is Sentosa Island, and my partner and I had been dying to visit it for our first trip after the pandemic. After we read a few Thrillophilia reviews and saw the incredible price at which we were getting the tour packages, we decided it was time to take the plunge and make our Sentosa Island dreams come true.

While we had been to Singapore before, we didn’t get a chance to visit the many attractions that Sentosa Island is famous for, so we made sure that we spent most of our time on Sentosa Island this time around. Thankfully, Thrillophilia had a package that seemed to be curated just for us, with an extensive tour of Sentosa Island and its many attractions. When booking the package, we couldn’t believe the price at which we were getting access to almost all the museums, theme parks and attractions on the island.

On the first day, we made sure to visit all the main attractions including Universal Studios, which is possibly the most famous attraction on the island. Rides like the Transformers – 3D Battle Ride, the dual roller coaster and the section dedicated to Battlestar Galactica were places where we made some of the best memories of our life! We also visited Jurassic Park’s Rapid Rides Adventure and the World of Shrek Castle (which is our favourite movie to watch as a couple, so it was extra thrilling). After Universal Studios, we stopped by SEA Aquarium, which is the largest aquarium in all of Southeast Asia. There are over 100,000 underwater animals that reside here that belong to over 1000 different species. All that water made us wish we were swimming in the water ourselves, so we then went to the Wave House on Sentosa Island. The shorefront pool and the wave ride pool were only the beginning of this attraction, which also had a restaurant serving some of the best Asian food and Pina-Coladas we have ever had in our lives.

There were also a few other theme parks on the island including iFly Singapore, 4D Adventure Land and Mega Adventure Land, where we had a wonderful time. Over the next few days, we made sure we visited some of the other recommended attractions on Sentosa Island, Singapore, including Fort Siloso, the Singapore Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom which had over 1,500 types of butterflies, the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum and the Siloso Beach.

While we had the best time visiting these attractions that Thrillophilia had planned for us during our tour of the island, something that is worth mentioning separately is the food that we got to eat in Sentosa. We sampled some of the most delicious drinks and signature cocktails in Coastes, which was a casual, beachside restaurant. The next day, we were in the mood for some casual street food, so we went to Malaysia Food Street, which was a perfect replica of the city, with roads marked out and signs pointing to the right restaurants where locals served us some of the most recommended Singaporean delicacies.

However, the most exciting dining experience was the Cable Car Sky Dining experience, where we got to spend 90 minutes in a private capsule that was air-borne, and where we were served a delicious 4-course meal, which was the highlight of the entire trip for my partner. After our meals, we also stayed at a posh resort that was pre-booked by Thrillophilia and from where we got an incredible view of the Singapore skyline and the beautiful waters of the Bay.

I think the best part of our couple’s tour of Singapore was the seamless experience. We were so used to road bumps, difficulties during bookings, getting permits and planning our itinerary that at the end of our vacation, we couldn’t believe how smooth the entire experience had been. To tell the truth, we were amazed at finding so many good Thrillophilia reviews, but after travelling with them ourselves, we have no doubt as to why people rave so much about this company. Not only was the tour affordable and well within our budget, but we also got to visit exactly the places we had planned to and even got a few extra perks. We would not have been able to plan our holiday and itinerary as perfectly had it not been done by Thrillophilia. The representative and guide who showed us to our hotel on the very first day was so super helpful and was there to answer all our queries throughout our journey. We also didn’t expect our hotel to be as nice as it was, but it was very clean and the staff was very kind, welcoming and amicable.

It truly has been one of the most memorable experiences of our lives, and if you are planning to travel to Sentosa Island anytime soon, Thrillophilia will make sure that every penny that you spend is worth it. We can’t thank them enough for their brilliant service!
