Mechanical cleaning

The vent cleaning is done with scrapers and brushes. Specialized machines with flexible shafts equipped with nozzles are used. Nozzles can be of different hardness to work with different degrees of pollution. Another option is to blow out the ventilation with compressed air.

Chemical cleaning

The ventilation system is sealed and chemical reagents are sprayed inside. They react with fatty deposits, due to which the dirt “sticks” from the surface and is easily removed mechanically or similarly using a vacuum pump.

Combined method

The foam generator pushes hot (at least 60°C) foam into the air duct. The composition contains surfactants that help soften the fat layer, after which it easily exfoliates and is removed mechanically.

Or vice versa – first mechanical cleaning of contaminants is performed, and then wet using a solution with chemical reagents that help to cope with the remaining contaminants.

Blast

Blasting is a chemical spray cleaning procedure. It can be baking soda for gentle blasting, or dry ice for a serious cleanup. The essence of the method is that contaminants are exposed to a reagent in combination with a compressed air flow. The method has a very high efficiency, while not damaging the surface of the duct. The separated dirt particles are removed by means of a vacuum pump.

Disinfection
