Every Thing You Need to Know About Michael Jackson and his Death!

Michael Jackson (1958-2009)

Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana. His mother is Katherine Jackson and his father was Joseph Jackson. He has siblings named Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, LaToya, Marlon, and Randy Jackson Jr.

Michael often got sick as a child so his mother sent him to the hospital with St.Joseph’s nursery and he stayed there for about ten months.

When Michael was young he would watch silent movies because they had no subtitles back then so he could understand them better!

Michael Jackson was an American singer and dancer. One of his many iconic moves is the Moonwalk, which he invented. He also created a dance called ‘Smooth Criminal’ and made famous the phrase “Beat it!”

Jackson began singing and dancing at a very young age and had won numerous talent shows as a child. His older brothers formed The Jackson 5, where Michael sang with them for eight years before going solo in 1971. Their first record made chart history; their follow-up album became the first ever to produce four top ten hits on Billboard Hot 100 including one that went to number one: “I’ll Be There”.

In 1979, Michael Jackson released what would become his signature song, “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough”. With the success of the song, Jackson was named ‘Artist of the Decade’ by Billboard. The album itself won many awards including a Grammy.

With his 1982 release “Thriller”, he earned numerous awards and more recognition for his music. He became known as the King of Pop after that point in time. His hit songs include: “Billie Jean” (which some belief was about him having an illegitimate child), “Beat it”, “Earth Song”, “Smooth Criminal”, and more!

Once allegations started to pile up about Jackson, everything changed for him. Some people started boycotting his music while others supported him through his trials.

Michael Jackson’s success was primarily due to his talents as a singer, dancer, and songwriter, but also partly due to his contributions to commonly used music genres such as Pop, Soul, R&B/Hip-Hop, Disco/Dance-Hop, Rock & Roll, New Jack Swing and even Rap & Hip Hop.

His dancing skills are unmatched; he could easily dance for several hours straight without tiring.
