Mechanical cleaning

The vent cleaning is done with scrapers and brushes. Specialized machines with flexible shafts equipped with nozzles are used. Nozzles can be of different hardness to work with different degrees of pollution. Another option is to blow out the ventilation with compressed air.

Chemical cleaning

Combined method

The foam generator pushes hot (at least 60°C) foam into the air duct. The composition contains surfactants that help soften the fat layer, after which it easily exfoliates and is removed mechanically.

Blast

Blasting is a chemical spray cleaning procedure. It can be baking soda for gentle blasting, or dry ice for a serious cleanup.
