2022 Model Year Lineup of Hyundai Electric Cars

The current automotive world is now more focused on manufacturing greener cars than ever before. It doesn’t need an explanation, why. Our planet has already suffered enough with the polluting fumes of high performance and regular commuting cars that run on the expensive gas. To compensate, most leading auto makers like Hyundai is perfecting their engineering skills in manufacturing fully electric and hybrid cars. This time, Hyundai is already in its readiness to release its most efficient green cars, for the year 2022.

So here goes a brief account of the 2022 Hyundai electric cars that we have gathered from our long trusted San Bernardino Hyundai dealership.

2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai has its plans ready to launch its full fleet of electric vehicles with the name Ioniq which will function as a sub-brand from Hyundai from now onwards. The Ioniq family of cars from Hyundai is already a popularname in the market in which the 5 will come as a compact crossover model that is going to hit the road with only electric motors working under its hood. The 2022 Hyundai Ioniq is announced by the automaker as a fully electric crossover SUV model that willwear a classic hot look but with a pinch of hatch design. There will be a touch of modernization for sure, giving the Ioniq 5 an eye-catching look.

There will be two distinct power options in the 2022 model year lineup of Ioniq 5. The standard powertrain variant of the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 will house a battery that would be of 58 kWh capacity. It will send its 168-horsepower to the rear wheels with the help of a motor. What is most appreciable in this is the perky acceleration it will be able to deliver along with an exciting driving experience that will take about 8.5 seconds to reach the speed of 60 mph from a total standstill.

2022 Hyundai Kona

Hyundai has announced a 2022 model year release for the Kona Electric series, which will have its first fully battery electric SUV which will be available in two trim levels, SEL and Limited.

Likewise, to differentiate the trim levels there will be two variants of battery capacities as well, that will be available for the buyers of the 2022 Hyundai Kona electric. The smaller battery will be of 39kWh capacity powering the lower SE Connect trim, and will be paired to a 100kW/136PS motor, while the larger battery will be of 64kWh powering the Limited trim, and will be paired with a 150kW/204PS motor, gaining a range of 288 and 358 miles, respectively.

It goes without saying that the higher trim of the 2022 Hyundai Kona electric with the 64kWh battery will be on the higher demandsince it will have the best performance to offer and return real value for the money asked. What will come as an extra gain to the buyers of the 2022 Hyundai Kona is a new body design and a new pair of alloy wheels, all helping the EV move in flow with aerodynamics, explained the San Bernardino Hyundai dealer.
